Nominators must be individuals associated with universities, hospitals, medicals schools, or research institutes, and have a background in neuroscience. The recipient of the Scolnick Prize will present a public lecture at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research in the Spring of 2019.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates for the award must be nominated by individuals affiliated with universities, hospitals, medicals schools, or research institutes, with a background in neuroscience.

Self-nomination is not permitted.

Members of the selection committee and faculty affiliated with MIT are not eligible.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination Deadline: January 2, 2019

Winners are announced in January, 2019, and the prize ceremony, which includes a public lecture, takes place in the spring.

Recipient must attend all events to be awarded the prize.
