Grant Description

Grants of $750 to Texas public school teachers for projects and activities to enhance the quality of classroom education. Funding is intended for teachers who have demonstrated dedication to children's education through the creation of events, programs, and other learning platforms. Applicants may apply individually, as a group/team, or as a school. Applicants must be public school teachers for the 2023-2024 school year who pay into the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS).

Classroom Assistance Grant Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be public school teachers for the 2023-2024 school year who pay into the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS).
2. All applications must include a handwritten signature of the school principal expressing approval of the project.

Applicants may apply individually, as a group/team or as a school. If you apply as a group/team or as a school, please designate someone to lead your grant application process and serve as the contact person to receive any related correspondence from the Foundation.

Pre-Application Information:

Applicants may download the application from the TRTF website beginning September 16, 2022. All applications must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2023. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

The names of the 30 grant recipients will be announced on Friday, March 31, 2023. Winners will be notified by email, and the names of the recipients will be shared on the TRTF website and Facebook.
