Grants of up to $20,000 to Texas eligible individuals to support the development or expansion of agricultural businesses throughout the State. Funding is intended to increase agricultural activities within the State, address unmet financial needs, and help grow agricultural operations that positively impact Texas communities. Farmers must be under the age of 46 at the time of the application deadline.
Generally, expenses that are necessary and reasonable for proper and efficient performance and administration of a project are eligible. Examples of eligible expenditures are:

Grant awards range from $5,000 to $20,000
- Recipients will have up to 15 months to complete their projects and seek reimbursement for allowable grant expenses, as authorized by the approved project budget.
- All approved projects have an anticipated start date of August 1, 2021 and must be completed by October 31, 2022.
