Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs that positively impact the local community. Funding is intended to prevent and control disease, aid in scientific endeavors, promote education and religion, alleviate human suffering, provide relief to the poor and indigent, and support the beautification of public buildings, grounds, or civic betterment. Programs should impact residents in Navarro County.

Term of Contract:

The majority of grants are 1 year in duration; however, occasionally multi-year support is considered.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants are awarded to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations in Navarro County, Texas.

Due to the limited amount of grant dollars available to distribute each year, the Foundation will only accept online grant applications from organizations with annual operating budgets of less than $20 million.

The Foundations does not consider grant requests from individuals and does not support organizations attempting to influence policy through direct lobbying or any political campaigns.

Decision Timeframe: 3-4 months

Please submit online applications by 11:59 p.m. on the day of the Foundation’s deadline date. If the application deadline date falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, the Foundation does not extend the deadline, therefore applications must be submitted on the prior business day by 11:59 p.m.

Online grant applications will be accepted 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, generally on, or prior to the proposal due date. However, applicant inquiries can only be answered during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT.

Please be advised that technical support is only provided Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST and not provided on weekends for password resets or general technical inquiries. Therefore it is best to start your application early, seek technical support during business hours, and to submit your application in advance of the due date.
