Pre-Application Information:

Important Notice

Due to the 2018 year-end close process, the Genentech Funding Request System will stop accepting healthcare-related charitable support requests at 5:00 PM PT, Wednesday, November 21 and will reopen for requests on Wednesday, January 2.

This temporary closure only affects healthcare-related charitable support.

It is important to note the Genentech Funding Request System cannot accept requests less than 60 days prior to the event/program start date. Therefore, if you plan to submit a charitable contribution request for an event or program occurring before March 3, 2019, please submit your request no later than November 21, to ensure consideration.

Pending requests with event/program dates beginning in mid-January 2019 or beyond will receive final decisions in the new year.

Genentech has a rolling review policy when evaluating funding requests for healthcare-related charitable support. This allows qualified requestors the opportunity to apply anytime during year.

Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis; you will usually hear back from Genentech prior to the project/program start date. Please refrain from submitting applications for which the project/program start date is more than 6 months out. Early submissions will not ensure an early decision.
