Grant Description
Grants of up to $1,000 and in-kind volunteer support to Texas nonprofits in eligible regions to support projects and events that benefit local children. Funding is intended for projects that align with at least one of the following areas: health and hygiene, food insecurity, and clothing and resources for low-income children in Taylor County. Other projects that do not fall into one of the areas listed above, but provide a benefit to the local community, may also be considered.

The Junior League of Abilene has refined and refocused its community efforts on organizations and projects whose mission aligns with one or more of the above areas. The League is dedicated to supporting community agencies whose initiatives and programs have similar focuses. However, the League also wants to be sure and make space for nonprofit and community partners that may not fit within this definition. If your proposal isn’t within one of the above areas this year, you can still apply by describing how your proposal will help benefit the community. Priority will be assigned to organizations that fit with the League mission.

2022-23 PAVE Volunteer Request: Volunteers are essential to nonprofit organizations. At the Junior League of Abilene, members are educated and trained with the leadership skills and servant leader heart to help with your next event or program.

2022-23 PAVE Grant: Junior League of Abilene is happy to help small nonprofits complete service projects throughout the community.
