The focuses on improving the governance of shale development in addition to supporting efforts to reduce the negative environmental and community impacts of shale gas development.The unresolved challenges related to shale development and natural gas can be divided into two broad categories. The first set of questions involves natural gas as a fuel source, including to what extent fugitive methane emissions occur and how these emissions can be minimized and to what extent abundant natural gas displaces renewable energy and energy efficiency in electricity generation.The second set of questions involves the risk of impact from hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling to develop shale formations. RNM exists to provide access to safe domestic water, medical , and vocational job skills training to the poor and needy in various communities; and in particular, the 3rd World Countries - with the current focus on Nigeria and the Niger Republic in West Africa, Widows job skills and Orphanage care through partnerships in India, and Nigeria. Furthermore, RNM is committed to addressing the need to remove conditions that lead to abject poverty, cycles of disease, and ill health, especially among children and women thru sustainable development. Working with donor partners and volunteers, RNM focuses on reducing shortages of sanitary water as it shares the gospel of Christ the living water to improve school attendance, health and hygiene habits for the desperately poor.
