THE ORGANIZATION IS COMPOSED OF VOLUNTEEERS AND DEDICATED PROFEESIONALS DEVOTED TO THE PROMOTIONOF CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE CONTINUED EDUCATION OF LINEWORKERS, THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF COST-REDUDING EFFICIENCY AND PROFICIENCY METHODS IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS OF TRUST AND TEACHING TEAMWORK TECHNIQUES, SHARING OF IDEAS TO BRING INNOVATION TO THE INDUSTRY AND NETWORKING THAT WILL FOSTER LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ELECTRIC UTILITIES, IN ADDITION TO OFFERING LINEWORKERS IN THE UNITED STATES A WAY TO SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS AND PRIDE IN THE PROFESSION OF HIGH VOLTAGE LINEWORK TO THEIR FAMILIIES, CUSTOMERS AND THE PUBLIC.
