Supplemental Information (2024)

The KIPP Forward department distributes scholarship applications to all graduating seniors in May of every year. In June, the selection committee awards the scholarships based on the applicants' financial needs, academic commitment, and personal character. Scholarship recipients must volunteer at KIPP during the summer. There are two disbursements to the recipients. Students receive their first half of payment during the first month on campus. The second half of the reward is contingent on their fall semester grades, payable in the spring semester. The recipient can also renew their award with good academic standing and continue summer volunteering at KIPP. To learn more about KIPP Forward go to https://kipptexas.org/kipp-forward/
