One scholastic book fairs were held in Fall to promote reading in kids. Funds collected from scholastic book fair is used to replenish the classroom libraries for encouraging more reading among kids and since this is a relatively new school goal is also to build a good inventory of books To promote celebrating diversity in our school there was multicultural night celebration and every classroom is assigned a country from a continent assigned to the grade Kids get to research and celebrate diverse cultures Cyber sense program is conducted to provide cyber safety to kids in a fun environment Animal adventure program is scheduled for kids to learn more about animals organized by Dallas Zoo and sponsored by Talley PTA. To welcome new kinder students, cheers and tears program was held that will mark the beginning of 13 years of schooling together. There is also back to school picnic held to welcome all kids back to school and to get excited about learning again.
