EYE CORPS IS A TEXAS 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO ELIMINATE BLINDNESS DUE TO CATARACTS. EYE CORPS USES ALL DONATIONS RECEIVED TO HELP IN ORGANIZING AND SETTING UP CATARACT CAMPS AND SURGICAL CENTERS OUTSIDE THE U.S. IN ORDER TO PERFORM CATARACT SURGERIES FOR LOCAL, INDIGENT POPULATIONS AT NO CHARGE. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP LOCAL DOCTORS AND NURSES BECOME MORE ADVANCED IN THEIR SURGICAL KNOWLEDGE AND TO PROVIDE UP-TO-DATE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, SO THE DOCTORS AND NURSES MAY PROVIDE THE NEEDED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE LOCAL POPULATION.
