The mission of the American Advertising Federation-Houston is to advance the advertising profession in the greater Houston area by supporting industry recruitment and education; by communicating to the regional business and professional communities, as well as to governmental organizations, the economic and social value of advertising; by fostering improvement of its effectiveness; and by promoting ethical self-regulation.The American Advertising Federation ("AAF") headquartered in Washington, D.C., is the oldest national advertising trade association of 40,000 advertising industry professionals in a national network of 150+ local federations in 15 districts across the nation. AAF acts as the "Unifying Voice for Advertising", protects and promotes the well-being of advertising through a unique, nationally coordinated grassroots network of advertisers, brands and agencies, service providers, media companies, local advertising federations and 200 student Chapters with 5,000+ members.
