THE CORPORATION ENCOURAGES AND PROMOTES AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE, RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL FUNCTIONS PRIMARILY BY AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO DESERVING STUDENTS IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, TEXAS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CRITERIA SET FORTH IN THE BY-LAWS OF THE CORPORATION. ADDITIONALLY, THE CORPORATION PROMOTES THE HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO.
