Grant Description

Awards to Texas individuals in eligible regions in recognition of their outstanding commitment to advancing inclusion and diversity. The awards are intended to honor community members who have made an impact in their workplace or community as well as business executives who have demonstrated initiative in promoting equality within their companies. Eligible individuals are located in Houston.

Award Categories:

  • Outstanding Diversity Champion: Recognizes individuals within the community or for-profit and nonprofit organizations who have shown outstanding initiative to promote diversity and inclusion either in the organization or community, making a positive difference in others’ lives through contributions to social justice, equality and diversity.
  • Outstanding Head of Diversity: Recognizes the achievements of executive or businesspersons who have displayed leadership, commitment and motivation in driving the diversity and inclusion agenda in their organizations or the community at large.
