Grants to Texas businesses in eligible regions for Coronavirus (COVID-19) recovery efforts. Funding is intended to help businesses that were required to close or that experienced a decline in customers as a result of the pandemic. Eligible businesses are located in and serve the City of Pflugerville.
Announcing the second round of Pflugerville Cares, a grant program to provide rapid financial assistance to small businesses located in the City of Pflugerville that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant funds can be used to support the cost of business interruption to the COVID-19 because of required closures, voluntary closures to promote physical distancing, or decreased customer demand due to COVID-19. Only properties that are used exclusively for business purposes are eligible.

Funding is distributed on a tiered basis depending on the number of employees. Maximum funding amounts are as follows:
- Tier 1: Applicants with 0 to 14 full-time equivalent employees may qualify for up to $25,000
- Tier 2: Applicants with 15 to 40 full-time equivalent employees may qualify for up to $50,000
- Tier 3: Applicants with 41 or more full-time equivalent employees may qualify for up to $75,000
Grantees are expected to make best efforts to keep business operating in Pflugerville for one year from execution of grant agreement.
