Awards to Texas chief executive officers in eligible regions to recognize exceptional leadership abilities. Eligible nominees can be CEOs, executive directors, managing partners, or principals at for-profit or nonprofit companies. The nominee's office must be located in one of the 10 counties in the Greater Houston area: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto, and Waller.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The honorees will be recognized in an awards ceremony in August 2022 and also in a special edition of the Houston Business Journal.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- Nominees must be the Chief Executive Officer or hold an equivalent position in the greater Houston area. (Ex: Executive Director, Managing Partner, Principal, etc.)
- The nominee's office must be located in one of the 10 counties in greater Houston: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto and Waller.
- Candidates must have been in their current position for at least 12 months.
- Candidates from for-profit companies or nonprofits are eligible.

Elected government officials will not be considered.

Prior recipients of the award are not eligible to receive it again.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination Deadline: May 13, 2022 at 11:59 PM.

Once nominations close, nominees will be sent an online application to be completed and returned by June 3, 2022.

Anyone can nominate a candidate.

The honorees will be recognized in an awards ceremony in August 2022 and also in a special edition of the Houston Business Journal.
