Awards to Texas veteran business owners, veteran business leaders, and military spouses in eligible counties to acknowledge exceptional business practices and support for their fellow veterans. Eligible nominees must be employed in the region and must be residents of the Greater San Antonio area. The SABJ defines “Greater San Antonio area” as the following counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, or Wilson.

The San Antonio Business Journal will host its second event honoring military Veteran business leaders, military spouses and Veteran-owned small business start-ups lifting up their fellow veterans in the workplace and beyond.

The San Antonio Business Journal is pleased to present its Veterans in Business and Military Spouses Awards, honoring San Antonio’s military Veteran business leaders and companies for outstanding practices not only in business, but in supporting their fellow Veterans in the workplace and beyond.

This year, SABJ is pleased to announce the addition of military spouses who play a vital role in the success of the US armed forces. SABJ is also honoring Veteran-owned small business start-ups, celebrating Veteran entrepreneurs!

Eligibility requirements: Honorees must be residents of the Greater San Antonio area and employed in the region.

Nominations will be judged by a panel including editors of the San Antonio Business Journal.
