Opportunity for Texas renters in eligible locations to receive housing assistance during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The program is intended for residents that experienced financial difficulties due to the health crisis and demonstrate a risk of facing housing instability or homelessness. Payment is made directly to the landlord or utility company. Applicants must be a City of Allen resident.

Rental and utility assistance will be provided up to the maximum number of months allowed or $20,000, whichever is less.
You may receive up to 12 months of assistance (measured from March 13, 2020), plus an additional 3 months if you can show that the extra months are needed to ensure housing stability and funds are available.
