Grants of up to $2,000 to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to support educational programming and materials. Funding is intended for expenses related to tutoring for school children, financial literacy programs, computer and other job skills training, adult literacy programs, healthy lifestyle classes, community education events, and materials. Eligible organizations serve the residents of Smith County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants are limited to nonprofits offering educational programs and materials in Smith County, Texas. Applicants must be tax-exempt, non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status.

Governmental entities, private schools, and private non-operating foundations are not eligible.

The Foundation does not award grants to individuals or political activities.

Applications open June 1, 2022. The grant deadline is June 30, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Recipients will be announced in August 2022.
