Donation of an off-grid solar water purifier to a USA, Canada, or International nonprofit organization, public agency, private company, social enterprise, or activist group. Qualifying applicants will conduct a high impact community project requiring water purification and solar electricity, with the project focused on an area relating to health, social, disaster relief, or the environment.
OffGridBox is an all-in-one sustainable solution providing clean water and solar power to people in remote areas. Now OffGridBox is launching a contest to award a free Off Grid Water and Electricity System to one community in need of an off-grid solution. With their social mission of improving lives at heart, the aim of the contest is to find local implementing partners and collaborate on future projects. The Free Box (valued up to $30,000) can provide clean water and renewable electricity anywhere in the world. Eligible projects should focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Social (i.e. education, women empowerment)
- Health (i.e. potable water, sanitation, medical services)
- Environment (i.e. sustainable farming, eco-villages)
- Disaster Relief (i.e. rebuilding, preparedness)
