Request a Grant Writer

Award of $1,000 to a USA K-12 formal or informal educator to recognize excellence in the creation and execution of a technology program. Priority is given to programs that focus on aeronautics and/or aerospace. Applicants should demonstrate how the participating students benefit from the program. The selection criteria are innovation, excellence, program type, and future consideration.

The Award will be presented at the 36th National Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The winner will be flown to Colorado Springs, where hotel accommodations will be provided for 3 nights and 4 days (Sunday-Wednesday). The winner will receive a commemorative trophy with his or her name engraved and a monetary award of $1,000. In addition, the Award winner's name will be placed on a plaque honoring past recipients that is housed in the Center for Space Education at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
