Grants to Texas organizations in eligible counties to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Funding is intended for programs and projects that address basic human needs, support education, and promote community vitality. Eligible proposals benefit the residents of the CoServ Service Area, including Denton, Collin, Cooke, Grayson, Tarrant, and Wise counties.
Focus Areas:
Meet Basic Human Needs: Providing assistance in accessing food, warmth, and basic medical and social needs, as well as issues related to children and those issues that arise from disasters
Community Vitality: Supporting programs, projects, and organizations that are important contributors to quality of life, while emphasizing public safety and self-sufficiency; providing support to veterans and troops.
Support Education: Supporting education initiatives, particularly those related to science, technology, engineering, math, and trades, while emphasizing support for those in greatest need.
The following factors will be considered in the evaluation of all funding requests:
Direct impact to residents of the CoServ Service Area and the entire community
Grants using the General Funds which will be considered for communities outside the CoServ Service Area
Fiscal and administrative capability of the organization to deliver a quality service or program
