Grants of up to $10,000 to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to address technology and internet usage needs. Funding is intended for initiatives that increase knowledge, skills, and usage related to digital and communications technology, as well as to increase access to and usage of the internet, particularly in under-served segments of the community. Eligible applicants are located in Austin or its Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

GTOPs Mini is a client-serving, project-oriented mini-grant that provides a low-barrier-to-entry funding opportunity to small, Austin area nonprofits. GTOPs Mini supports programming that increases access to technology, provides digital/technology training, and/or increases access to the internet.

Grants of $5,000 to $10,000

Term of Contract:

The Agreement shall be in effect for a term of twelve months, unless extended by written amendment executed prior to the end of the initial term.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- Applicant must be an incorporated, tax-exempt organization in Austin or its Extra Territorial Jurisdiction
- Applicant must have the ability to comply with City purchasing requirements to ensure eligibility for receipt of funds.
- Funds are only available to organizations with organizational revenues under $1,000,000 per year

Applications are accepted from April 14, 2022, through May 14, 2022.

Mini-grant awards will be announced by May 31, 2022.

Any applicant, who has not previously done so, must register as a new City Vendor:

Only one application per organization will be funded per City fiscal year.
