Grants to Texas nonprofit arts and cultural organizations to promote and market events in eligible locations. New applicants must attend an orientation prior to applying. Funding is intended for arts and cultural events that will attract overnight visitors. Proposals must benefit Forth Worth.
The purpose of the Fort Worth Tourism Public Improvement District (FWTPID) Cultural Initiative Grant is to provide marketing and promotional funding to arts and cultural organizations which promote and enhance the visibility of Fort Worth as an overnight destination to their patrons. Eligible initiatives can be a single event, seasons, or annual calendars of events.
FWTPID Grant funds can be used to support marketing efforts for initiatives, so long as:
Awards may only be utilized for marketing and promotions of the proposed initiative. At minimum, 30% of awarded funds must be used specifically to target the market 50+ miles outside of Fort Worth. Up to 25% may be utilized for marketing and promotions staff and/or contractors.
